A Prelude to Oriental Tea Aesthetics
The journey of tea follows a three-part harmony: Learning, Experience, and Practice.
Learning from the Tea: Immerse yourself in the profound wisdom and techniques of the tea world. Through a single leaf, we feel the sublime wonder of nature.Experiencing Aesthetic Beauty: The tea ceremony is a Dojo—a sacred space for perceiving and creating beauty. Through tea, we experience the aesthetics of living, learning to appreciate every detail of the setting and understanding the cultural heritage behind it.
Practicing the Art of Tea: We bring these aesthetics to life through the physical act of the tea ceremony.Studying tea is a refinement of one's inner character; hosting a tea session is the outward expression of the beauty held within your heart. Together, let us create a moment of grace and begin your poetic life in the world of tea aesthetics.
